Being a tour guide obviously involves offering tours of monuments and “lecture” tours, but why not also offer lectures without tours?
I can therefore offer you a range of lecture topics, such as::
- Philip the Fair and the Knights Templar
- The fall of the Roman Empire and the “barbarian invasions”
- Measuring time in the Middle Ages
- Did people believe the Earth was flat in the Middle Ages?
- Women in the Middle Ages
- Hygiene in the Middle Ages
- Bleu de France and Fleur de Lys
- etc...
These topics are obviously only suggestions, and I am happy to discuss them with you.
Similarly, although they usually last around two hours, including questions and answers, the duration should not be a hindrance: too long? Too short? There is always a way to adapt to your requirements. And I usually do them in French, but why not in English ?
I will, of course, provide all the necessary equipment (video projector, screen, computer).
